When you buy it you can have two basic problems:
1. Not all software is instaled.
2. Problem with instaled NET Compact Framework.
You can solve these problems on this way:
add 1) Reflash your WinCe Net 6.0 OS.
You have to find on the GOOGLE the "script" file ( http://www.fileserve.com/file/krzDzaS )
or the seller send to you it.
You copy the unziped script file to the SD card
and instal it after these instructions.
Copy the firmware which is named “script” directly to the root catalog of SD card, keep your netbook
“power off” and insert the SD card, then power on.
System will auto-update the firmware, you will see the menu is in Chinese, pls not worry, just wait till
system ask you “Upgrade completed! Please remove SD card before system reset”.
Pls remote the SD card, and restart your netbook, your netbook will then finish the last steps to install
language and apps. And that is it!
add 2) Reinstal NetCompactFramework.
You can see the Net Compact Framework Problem on this notebook.
When you run your own app created on the Visual Studio 2008,
there is the Error message about the Net Compact Framework.
Here is one of the solutions:
A) Delete the NETCompactFramework from the Registry.
1. Go to My Computer->Windows and start RegEdit.exe.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft.
3. Choose .NETCompactFramework by the mouse and Go to Edit -> Delete.
B) Delete all GAC_... files from the Windows directory.
C) Instal NetCompactFramework from *.cab file.
